Dana White wants us to believe that UFC 240, which takes place tonight (Sat., Jul. 27, 2019) at Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, is the biggest event in the promotion’s history. A UFC Featherweight Championship bout between current champion Max Holloway and former UFC Lightweight Champion Frankie Edgar is expected to serve as the event headliner. Even though this is a must-watch event, there are some who won’t be able — or willing — to pay the $65 fee to access the PPV main card portion of this event.

That’s the reason I’ve decided to use my purchase of the event to provide you with a radio style play-by-play broadcast of the violence hidden behind the paywall. I might be uglier than a Mario Yamasaki late stoppage, but throughout the entirety of UFC 240’s PPV main card I will be doing my best to keep fight fans informed on the weird, miraculous and jaw- dropping live action starting at 10 p.m. ET in the video player above.
